The start of something

So… this is new for me. Well, not entirely new. Years ago, I did open a blog once but it was at that time that I had a life revelation that I was not suited to write a daily-life/lifestyle blog…Hahahaha Anyway, now I again opened a blog since I read somewhere that it’s good to have at least a website or webpage for my freelance business. Yes, I do freelance for proofreading English text and translating Malay text to English or vice versa. I will put on display the price rate and the way to contact me for this at the sidebar later on.
In order to make this blog an active blog unlike my previous blog (R.I.P my dead blog), I decided to occasionally (yes, OCCASIONALLY) translate Malay song lyrics into English. I said ‘occasionally’ because I don’t know when my lazy bug would bite so hahaha... Mostly songs that I like, perhaps. And since I seldom listen to new Malay songs nowadays, I will probably translate old songs that left a big impression on me when I was young. YOUNGER, I mean. I think this is a good chance for those who couldn’t understand Malay but like to listen to Malay songs. I’m not exactly sure how many people would be interested in this but well, I’m doing this for fun too so. I’m also learning to perfect my English as well as my Malay language so if any of you who understands Malay and notices a mistake or some mistakes that I made in the translation, please tell me nicely. So that I can correct it and learn from it as well. And if it was not actually a mistake, I will try to explain why I chose to translate it like that. Or maybe I can write something under my translation, just to illustrate some of my thoughts while translating the song? I’m still not sure about that. Let’s just see how it goes.
